The meeting about the “Handisup International” project that took place on Wednesday 9th February 2011 at the Maison de l'Université in Mont Saint Aignan was a success.

During the press conference, Crédit Agricole Normandie Seine Assistant General Manager M. LEFEBVRE and Handisup Chairman Jean-Jacques MALANDAIN reminded the audience of the importance of this project, considering that only a few French students with disabilities carry on their studies abroad as part of the Erasmus Programme.
The short trips that have been organized by Handisup are necessary in order to dispel fears and find solutions for each student according to his or her disability. David, Lilian, Julia and Claire are the first students to benefit from this new plan of action : they showed how determined they were to take an ERASMUS trip or an internship abroad and they insisted that those short trips could be very useful. The four of them are ready to convince other students that in spite of their disabilities, travelling abroad is possible !

After the press conference, the project was presented in front of an audience composed of Handisup contributors and members of Crédit Agricole Normandie-Seine – about a hundred people.
Now that the project has been launched, short trips should multiply. The next destinations will be Belgium (23-26 February 2011), Spain (26-29 April 2011) and Germany (in October).

On June 9th in Rouen, join us for the national review with Disability correspondents
