Theatre club : enjoying ourselves in Paris on February 5, 2011 !

It has always been difficult for people with disabilities to attend or to perform in a play, mostly because of accessibility problems.
The Handisup Theatre club led by Emilie LECOEUR and Eric WEBER is composed of students with disabilities and students without disabilities. Improvisation activities are offered every week and a show is organized at the end of each year, as well as a cultural day out.
On this year, the day out took place in Paris, a city of art renowned for its shows.

It was a convivial gathering bewteen students with and without disabilities from the Theatre club. After visiting Paris and the Louvre Museum, the members of the club went to see a play written by Isabelle Mergault entitled “L'amour sur un plateau”.

Many students really enjoyed the play and this whole day out – read their reactions : “It was a nice day. We discovered many things in the Louvre Museum. I had a good meal. I really enjoyed myself during this day. And the play and the actors were very good. It was a very nice day. And it was nice to see Pierre Palmade and Isabelle Mergault !”
“I had already been to the Louvre Museum before but it was great to do it together. The restaurant and the play were fantastic.”
