Dynamic Volunteers!
The success of HANDISUP lies, for a large part, within our vibrant group of volunteers. All students, young adults, or generally anyone who would like to offer their support to our cause can become a volunteer.
Offering help or receiving help, at HANDISUP it is almost impossible to notice a difference. Everyone participates to the best of their individual ability!
HANDISUP and Our Volunteers
Understanding disabilities to better appreciate your students
HANDISUP offers internal training to all volunteers. The program includes:
- Socio-History of disabilities
- How to welcome and assist people with disabilies
- Render society accessible to disabled citizens (auditory, visual, motor, etc)
- Hands on training (wheelchair, cane, etc)
